Glad we found a place to stay. Nice people, but not on the river. Wish they had a place where we could congregate three for four trailers together. That would have been nice since we always have several families there at the same time on the Frio. All in all it's a good place.

We had an amazing time. The staff was wonderful. They had an amazing open playgroud area that our kids played at for hours. The bathrooms were very clean. Much quieter and more peaceful then camping at the state park.
We are evacuees of hurricane Harvey 2017. Facilities were nice and clean. However, we were a little unpleased upon check out. Due to the rapid growth of the hurricane we had to evacuate through the night arriving at Bec's RV park at 4 AM on Friday. But yet was charged for a full nights stay from Thursday. Also we were charged extra for each person over the two people, again were evacuating so we had more people than two. We found out that Garner State Park was free of charge to all evacuees, so not knowing how long our stay would have to be, we decided to leave and let the office know immediately that we would be moving..... so on top of that, they charged us for half a day. Mind you that the park was no where near capacity, so we were not putting any one out. Our trip of three nights ended up being more than most would pay for a full months stay at another RV park (based on the rates of a family members RV park). We absolutely were not looking for a handout but were very surprised at all the extra charges we ended up paying.
