Yearly tradition. During the week, expect a VERY SMALL crowd, during the weekend expect a VERY LARGE crowd. Very peaceful.
Great dog friendly cabins. There were four of us and two dogs. We were very comfortable. One of our beds was a bit firm. Outside of that we really enjoyed our stay. Going to the river was as simple as walking across the street. What really clenched the deal was, we were able to take the dogs down to the river with us. You can rent tubes there too. Friendly, helpful staff.
This place is absolutely AMAZING! Joan in the office is such a delightful person and was so very helpful . We stayed in Deer run 3 this time and we loved it! It was great for all the kiddos. We had horse shoes to play, a hot tub to relax in and spacious cabin. There were plenty of dishes and kitchen ware. At night the fireflies (light bugs) came out and lit up throughout the back yard. BEAUTIFUL!!! We would definately recommend this cabin and resort. Make sure to bring towels and sheets! Next trip is the weekend before the 4th at the Casita!! We loved that one also!! It has a stocked pond, beautiful scenery, washer and dryer and private gate.

This is such a great place. I've been coming here for years now and my friends family has been coming for over 20 years! They implemented a pet fee this year, 25 a dog. That was a little bit of a shock for us because we all have dogs that we bring with us, it is what it is. They will definitely have out business for years to come, and they should have yours too!
